What did I get out of the course? I got to spend a few days in a beautiful location, doing something worthwhile and learning new skills. More importantly, I garnered a sense of worth and fellowship and spent time with people who understand my situation and care enough to help me through it. I often feel abandoned and discarded, disappointed and let down but this course and the continued support from your programme provide enough layers of resilience to keep me going, and hopefully build towards a happier life.
